Lulu walking in the leaves with her jacket on during this morning’s walk. We didn’t walk as far today as I’m not feeling 100% this morning but we still got out!

Today’s walk - 2 weeks since we started going [almost] every day. The sidewalk and grass are completely coated in beautiful red leaves in some places. Then there’s other trees that haven’t even changed colour. Then there’s one tree that is mostly bare except for one branch that is still full and green!

After a long and stressful week I’m having some snuggles with my kitty and Netflix.

Emilia and Kalyn took a little visit to the local park where Emilia met a few local children. She did some monkey bar play with King, talked to a little girl, and talked to Alexander Goth. She ended up meeting 4 children at the park while Kalyn played chess.

How do people usually react to seeing you knit in public?

Weirdly pleased! I only take my knitting with me when I feel like conversation, because people often ask me what I’m making, who taught me, etc. And…

They ask me what I’m making and if it is hard. Then it typically leads into a lesson on how to knit or a conversation on what I’m knitting.

It’s so nice to see young people knit.

My aunt/mom/grandmother used to knit (or knits)

I used to knit. My mom/grandma/aunt taught me when I was little.

My mom/grandma/aunt tried to teach me but I just couldn’t do it.

I don’t have the patience for that!

How do you do that? It looks so hard.

Why do you knit things when you could just go to a store and buy it?

Just a few things I’ve heard. I knit on the bus, while waiting for appointments, on my lunch break at work, wherever I can.
